-Morning of 6/27/2023- Had to precautionarily relocated last night due to events outside my control, uncertain if the home will survive...Though this so called "barn" I'm currently staying at is more of a hunting lodge given the taxidermy all over the place...And mean there is a lot of taxidermy. -way to triggering to post any photos and I probably don’t have the owner’s permission to post it online. -Update around 10 A.M. 6/27/2023- Well things are turning for worst, home survivability is decreasing and potential total loss is increasing. Packed what I could. Relatively slow moving destruction and there’s nothing I can do about it, but hope it misses the house. -Update around 3:30 P.M. 6/27/2023- A little bit of good luck, home survivability increased a degree thanks to "boots on the ground", not a guarantee but better than nothing. -Update- around 9 P.M. 6/29/2023- Looks like we lucked out on this crisis, will be packing up and heading home tomorrow as threat containment is within
Well, the good news is the Starlink internet service continues to be working out great for my remote location which prevents use of mainstream internet service providers...And sadly, the previous satellite internet provider I had is probably still giving its customers poor quality internet service. And the global situation is still heated with a single flashpoint is all that's needed to trigger the next world war. DA wise; reading and responding to responses on comments is a tiresome task...Especially on the forums.
Well, the world appears to be spiraling toward another global war...At a seemingly gradual pace. Lighter news is that I've now got a new satellite internet service provider and it seems much better than the previous satellite internet provider. No longer will I have to sparingly use the internet over fear of having its speed throttled after a set monthly data allowance is used up. Now I can get back to doing some online gaming at an acceptable performance.
Been a while since I've played it, but I used to use the PX-2 Pegasus space plane back when the Kerbal Space Port website was still active; That thing with a mech-jeb got me to Duna.
The game crashes on me when I have too many mods through, so that limited me. When I was testing and experimenting with large and/or huge vehicle models I use a mod called HyperEdit just to get them in space...Still have it for future endeavors.(<- Yeah that thing is like cheating)
The last time I was on, I was using mods that advance science points and some other good looking mods for launch capabilities.
I use a crap ton of mods. Thank goodness for linux dual boot, otherwise I would barely be able to play. For now, the biggest problem I have is Kerbin disappearing when I return to the space center. Requires restart, but doesn't corrupt save.
